The Western U.S. Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA®) and the 13 Western State Departments of Agriculture announce participation and registration in the following activity, which is brought to you by the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service:

Craft Beer, Cider and Distilled Spirits Outbound Mission

April 2024

In 2024, Colorado and Montana will bring a delegation of breweries, distilleries and cideries to Japan for an outbound trade mission. During the mission, the group will meet with qualified importers, distributors, and retailers from across Japan. The beverage companies will provide tastings and possible pairings for their products.

This is a great opportunity to increase the knowledge and awareness of Western US Craft Beer and Spirits in the Japanese market. U.S. companies will meet with buyers at a tasting reception and will also participate in 1:1 B2B meetings, site visits, market presentations and retail tours while in Japan.Hotel, flight and internal transportation costs are covered.

Benefits of participation:

Companies will meet with importers in buyer-to-buyer meetings and receptions. The companies will sit down with each buyer giving them the opportunity to learn about the possibility for exporting in this region. This mission will also include retail tours.This will be an excellent opportunity for companies to participate in the rapidly growing demand in this region. 

Itinerary:

Sunday, 2024 - Arrive in Japan

Monday - Thursday - Meetings and Site Visits

Friday - Travel Home
