Our neighbor to the south is the United States’ third-largest agricultural export market, and had U.S. sales of food and farm products total a record setting $19.5 billion in fiscal year 2014. This accounts for nearly 13 percent of all U.S. agricultural exports that year. With a population of over 116 million residents, the highest per capita income in all of Latin America, and the fifth largest emerging global market, Mexico’s economy continues to thrive and strengthen.
