The Western U.S. Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA®), and the 13 Western State Departments of Agriculture, announce participation and registration in the following activity:
2014 Japan Inbound Trade Mission to PMA Fresh Summit Expo
Anaheim, CA: Oct. 18-19 - Tri-Cities, WA: Oct. 20, (LOCATION CANCELLED) - Seattle, WA: Oct. 21, (LOCATION CANCELLED)Benefits of participating in this activity:
* Meet one-on-one with pre-screened buyers from Japan
* Highlight your fresh fruits and vegetables and learn buyers’ needs and preferences
* Meet buyers in a private meeting room, or at your booth
This will be an excellent opportunity for companies to meet fresh produce buyers from Japan. Japan continues to be a key market for U.S. fresh produce, and especially for the western United States. Currently only 39% of Japan's food consumption comes from domestic products. In 2013, 87% of the fresh fruits and vegetables exported from the U.S. to Japan came from western states.
Meetings are available Saturday morning in our conference room, and Saturday afternoon, and all day Sunday, at your booth.
Your company does not need to be an exhibitor to participate in this mission.Meeting times are limited and are offered on a first come, first served basis. Interested companies should register as soon as possible.
Note: Participating companies are encouraged to be export ready, bring samples and product lists, and be prepared to discuss pricing.
